Privacy policy

MoverPad is a service of EzPacking Inc.. It gives moving companies an online quote page. Their customers film a walkthrough of their home, and we estimate what's being moved so the mover can price it. This policy explains what we collect, who sees it, and when we delete it.

If you asked a mover for a quote

When you use a mover's quote page, the mover is the business you're dealing with. We run the page for them. We collect:

• Your walkthrough video, and still images taken from it on your phone.
• What you tell us about the move: name, email, phone, move date, home size, distance, stairs and notes.
• Your choices: that you agreed to share your video, and whether you agreed to texts.
• Your booking: the date and time you pick, and your name, email and phone. Deposits are paid through Stripe. We never see or store your card number.

We use this to:

• Estimate your belongings and price your move at the mover's rates.
• Show the mover your video, item list and details so they can check the price.
• Email you your quote and booking updates. We only text you if you agreed to texts, and you can reply STOP at any time.

Who sees your video

• The mover you sent it to.
• A small number of MoverPad staff, to give support and to check how accurate our estimates are.
• The AI services that read the video to produce the estimate (Google Gemini and Anthropic Claude). They process it for us under their business terms, and we don't use your video to train AI models.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

We don't share mobile numbers or text opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Texts are only about your quote and booking; message frequency varies, msg & data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.

When we delete it

• Your video and its images are deleted automatically 30 days after your quote if you don't book, or 90 days after your move date if you do.
• You can delete your video sooner with the "Delete my video" button on your quote page.
• Your move details and price stay with the mover's records while they use MoverPad. To have them deleted, email us or ask the mover.

The mover may also keep your contact details in their own systems. How they use your details there is covered by their own policies.

If you're a moving company

We collect your sign-in email, your business details (name, city, state, logo, phones, alert email), your rates and schedule settings, and your quotes and bookings. We use them to run your quote page and send you alerts.

Demo pages. Before you sign up, we may make a demo quote page for your business, using only public information: name, city, state and USDOT number. We count visits to it. Demo pages are hidden from search engines and never take bookings or payments. Email us to have yours removed.

Cookies and logs

We use one cookie, to keep movers signed in. We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs, such as IP address and browser, for security and fixing problems.

Other services we use

• Our hosting provider: hosting, storage and email.
• Google and Anthropic: AI estimates.
• Stripe: payments.

Each one only gets what it needs to do its job.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing privacy@moverpad.com. We'll answer within 30 days. MoverPad isn't meant for children under 13.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we'll tell movers by email.
