MoverPad is a service of EzPacking Inc. ("we"). These terms cover using MoverPad. That includes a mover's quote page, if you're getting a quote, and a MoverPad account, if you're a moving company. By using MoverPad, you agree to them.

What MoverPad is

MoverPad is software that moving companies use to quote and book moves. We are not a mover or a moving broker. We don't arrange, perform or guarantee any move. Your agreement for the move is with the moving company.

Quotes are estimates

• The item list and price are estimates, made by AI from your video and priced at the mover's own rates. They can be wrong, especially for things the video didn't show.
• The mover sets the final price. Unless they tell you otherwise, the final bill is the time worked at their rates, plus any fees they list, minus your deposit.
• Movers can review and change a price before you see it.

Deposits and bookings

A deposit holds your date with the mover. It's processed by Stripe and goes toward your bill. If the mover can't take a date you asked for, your deposit is refunded. Otherwise, cancellations and refunds follow the mover's policy, so ask them before you book.

Your video

Only film places you have the right to film. Let anyone in the video know you're filming, and avoid showing documents or other private information. You keep ownership of your video. You let us and the mover use it to prepare your quote and plan your move, as described in our privacy policy.

For moving companies

• You must be a real moving business, with the licenses and insurance your state and the USDOT require for the moves you take.
• You're responsible for your rates, prices, deposits, refund policy and the moves themselves. You're also responsible for how you contact customers, including getting consent before you text them.
• Payment. MoverPad is billed monthly at the price shown when you sign up. Plans include a set number of video quotes. You can cancel any time, and your account stays active to the end of the paid month. We don't refund partial months.
• Keep your sign-in email secure. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• Don't use MoverPad to send spam, to quote moves you won't honor, or for anything illegal. We may suspend accounts that do, and we'll tell you why.

Our service

We work to keep MoverPad running and accurate, but it's provided "as is". There may be outages, and estimates can be wrong. As far as the law allows:

• We aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost jobs or profits.
• For a moving company, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
• For a customer, it's limited to $100.

Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

Text messages

If you agree to texts, we send messages about your quote and booking (customers) or new quotes and bookings (moving companies). Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent isn't required to get a quote or book. Details are on our text messages page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts in California.

Changes

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and we'll email movers about any significant change at least 14 days before it takes effect.
